Missing Inside No. 9? Your next DVD purchase should be this 2009 to 2011 dark character comedy mystery series made by creators Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton. The vivid memorable characters they played across the two series included serial killer obsessive David Sowerbutts, embittered children's entertainer Mr Jelly and blind recluse Oscar Lomax. They were supported on screen by a cast including Dawn French, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Watkins, Mark Bonnar, Imelda Staunton and Eileen Atkins.
